Home Oil Company is pleased to announce a new 'Blue' card system for our in-house accounts:

  • What is Hobo Express?
    Hobo Express is a system designed to replace our manual 'blue' card system with a more advanced electronic card system that works in conjunction with our existing point-of-sales and pay-at-the-pump facilities.
  • How are the cards processed?
    Cashiers will process these cards in the same manner as conventional credit cards are processed now.  Every card issued by Home Oil will be equipped with a personal identification number (PIN) as a safety precaution that will be required entry during transactions.
  • Can the cards be used for 'pay at the pump'?
    In most cases, yes.  There will be certain restrictions on some cards that will apply and may limit their pay at the pump ability.
  • What about card restrictions?
    Card restrictions will be determined by each individual customer's needs.  If a particular customer wishes to limit their transactions to fuel only, this can be done.  If a customer wishes to place no restrictions on a card, this can also be done.
